Bots
Agents with a job, a model to think with, and a face.
A bot is an AI agent that lives in a pod. Each one has its own instructions, its own model, and its own chat that everyone in the pod shares.
Make a bot
Use New bot from a pod's settings or Settings → Bots. You choose:
- Colour and Eyes: how it looks. There are eight colours and five pairs of eyes.
- Name: what people call it. Its handle comes from the name, so
"Trip Planner" is
@trip-planner. - Pod: where it lives. It uses that pod's connections.
A new bot starts on the first model your workspace has switched on. If there are none, connect one in Settings → Models first. Bots can't think without one.
Tell it what to do
Open the bot's settings to fill in the rest:

For example:
You plan family trips. Find options that suit everyone, and always check the
price with @budget-keeper before suggesting anything.
Keep replies short. Nobody wants to read an essay on a phone.
Never book anything without asking first.Remove a bot
Delete bot is at the bottom of its settings. Its chat, routines and settings go with it, and that can't be undone. Members can make and edit bots, but only admins can delete them.
